MARCUS A HOOD MRICS DipHI
Marcus has worked in the property profession since 1983 initially starting out in Residential and Commercial Agency and upon qualifying as a Chartered Surveyor in 1987 moved to Cambridgeshire undertaking various roles including Professional and Management, Commercial Acquisition and Roadside Development and latterly Residential Survey and Valuation work.
Since 1997 Marcus has specialised in Residential Survey and Valuation work and has gained experience in a wide variety of property types within the Eastern Region, covering the counties of Norfolk, Suffolk, Cambridgeshire, Essex, Hertfordshire and Bedfordshire.
Eastern EPC & Surveys has grown out the turmoil of the property market and the growth of the Energy Assessment market following change in government policy due to recent European Directives on Global Warming and Carbon Footprints. Marcus retrained for this industry and qualified as a Home Inspector setting up the business in February 2010.
Marcus works as a Consultant Surveyor to Trafford Surveyors — a well established company; in order in assist them with their company expansion within the South East of the UK and provides some of their services through this website.
New Company Vehicle
Following the successful end of the first years trading, the company has invested in new transportation, which has doubled up as an advertising “vehicle” to further promote the companies profile in the Huntingdon and Cambridge areas! It is already turning heads and in the first 24 hours on the road has already resulted in the commissioning of the first EPC which was carried out on the spot and delivered the next day!... Many thanks to Neil at the company, Your Sign Company, for his help in the design of the vehicle graphics and who carried out the livery within 3 hours!… The original logo design is by Matt Corrall.
